In April 2023, Dr Karen Matvienko-Sikar undertook a Visiting International Research Fellowship at the Flinders Caring Futures Institute in Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. Karen visited Prof Bec Golley’s fantastic research team in the Caring Futures Institute and had a very productive visit involving meetings about EIA SCOPE, EPOCH-Translate COMS, TOPCHILD, and a range of other exciting research projects related to early child feeding and obesity prevention. Karen also delivered a Flinders Caring Futures Institute seminar on her maternal and child health work to date, as well as presenting and speaking with Wellbeing South Australia. Lots of exciting plans for future research arising from the visit, as well as great new connections and collaboration, and enhanced existing collaborations!
