SCOPE is a Health Research Board funded project led by Dr Karen Matvienko-Sikar, School of Public Health, University College Cork. The aim of the SCOPE project is to develop a core outcome measurement set (COMS), including reliable, valid, and appropriate measures of core infant-feeding outcomes for implementation in research and practice. Developing a COMS will enhance synthesis and evaluation of childhood obesity prevention interventions.

Throughout 2025, the SCOPE team had the pleasure of collaborating with a wonderful group of mothers whose insights have been central to understanding how infant feeding outcomes should be measures. In the video below, they share their reflections and experiences in their own words.
